Stephen "DaBadNewz" Kelly is an audio engineer and digital content creator who combines technical proficiency with mellow yet result-oriented professionalism to create outstanding digital content and related products.
As an audio engineer, DaBadNewz is at home recording and mixing, but being a digital content creator means DaBadNewz is just as comfortable editing or working behind a camera on photography and videography projects, and even in front of one on his (mostly) informational Youtube channel!
DaBadNewz got his start in audio production with the simple goal of recording his own songs. After learning to produce respectable results in his barracks room while serving in the military, he started recording songs for other people and soon realized his passion for recording wasn’t exclusive to his own projects, but the recording process itself! After serving seven years he left the military to pursue audio full time, beginning with acquiring a bachelor's degree in Audio Production from the Art Institute of California-San Diego. Shortly after graduating, DaBadNewz started working at the House of Blues - San Diego.
